No More Videos After 14 December 2007, Louis?
Not From Cache
Do you know who is Louis Allport? Anyone who even casually dabbles in internet marketing is bound to own one of his video ebooks sooner or later. That’s how wide spread Louis’ products are.
With sites like YouTube the rage on the net right now, videos are everywhere. But Louis Allport was the king of video before video was hip. And he still is. Just do a search for “Louis Allport” and you will see the many video ebooks by him. 99% of them internet marketing related of course.
How does he get his video ebooks to spread like wild fire?
One way I can see is definitely the master resale rights Louis Allport gives everyone who owns his video ebook. The master resale rights licenses are built directly into the ebooks. As long as you own the ebook, you also have the resale rights.
And the master resale rights are very unrestrictive. Meaning you can practically do anything you wish with the video ebook. You can sell it—auction it, too, I think—at any price, you can use it as a bonus, you can give it away. What you can think of, you can do.
Selling Louis Allport’s video ebooks but don’t have a site to stream the videos or big enough to hold all the video files? No worries. There are 2 kinds of links in the ebooks when it comes to video: one is to view the streaming video online, and the other is to download the video to your own computer for viewing later. No matter which type it is, the links all go back to Louis Allport’s web site.
And that’s where the trouble is, now. And that’s why you won’t get any videos after 14 December 2007… maybe.
Louis Allport has earlier announced that he’s taking the video contents of his products offline. And other than the holders of the private label rights licenses, the other resale rights holders won’t be allowed to sell the video ebooks after 14 December 2007. Louis cited costs and support issues as the main factors in his decision.
I guess his decision shook the internet marketing communities. Their reactions made him reconsider his decision to pull the plug. Louis Allport is now looking into options to keep the content online long term for resellers without issue.
How it will finally turn out is too early to say. Even if you own just a single copy of Louis Allport’s video ebook, you can keep watch of the development on this page:
