David Wilkinson–Wonder Blog Boy

While I was checking out all the internet marketing product launches bombarding my inbox recently, I kept seeing this picture of a young boy going by the name of David Wilkinson giving testimonial. And I do mean “young boy” as in a 10-ish year old smiling face. Makes me wonder who the heck is this David Wilkinson that every gurus out there are after his testimonials.
Checking the web site, Affiliate Defined, David Wilkinson signed off in his testimonials got me nowhere. That site has only an announcement page for its launch in August. So I Google’d David’s name and boy oh boy…This David Wilkinson is really something.
David Wilkinson is from UK, Manchester and should be 13 years old by now. From what I can see, he only started blogging from July 2006, writing on IT, gadgets and all the stuff about the latest technologies. David is so good at it, he got a spotlight at ProBlogger, an interview at BBC and all the invitations to endorse the latest internet marketing products.
The blog which shot David Wilkinson to fame is his own site TechZi, which by the way has gone through a few name changes. TechZi is now part of Zi Media that David founded. If you just read the posts at TechZi, they’re mature and professionally written. I bet you can’t tell it’s from a 13 years old boy. I sure couldn’t myself.
Is David Wilkinson making a bunch from all his blogging? I don’t know. What do you call $500 a month? Mind you, David hasn’t even gone all out into internet marketing yet. He’s just having fun sharing what he likes on his blog, that’s all. So, considering that some of us don’t even earn a dollar a month from internet marketing even though we try, what do you think?
Well, I’ll tell you what I think. If a 13 years old boy can make money on the internet, you and I can too. But, more importantly I feel, you enjoy doing what you do online, and not just for the money alone.
David Wilkinson, the wonder blog boy. He’s an inspiration, isn’t he?
