Article Speed Writing Your Way to Article Information Marketing Success

Not From Cache
Once you aspire to be a Bum Marketer, the one thing you can’t escape is writing articles. After all, Bum Marketing Method is no more than a specific twist of Article Information Marketing, right? And I’m not talking about writing 1 or 2 articles here. I’m talking about lots and lots of articles of some standard. Which was why I went looking for article-fast-write courses a while back.

Article Writing Blues

Article marketing is no personal blogging. You can’t write as you please. You have to put in a fixed number of words. You must stuff the keywords at appropriate places. You need to spend time researching the niches you barely know. Then you write and rewrite. All these just to make sure you don’t produce a piece of junk attracting no one, totally defeating the purpose of article marketing.

Doesn’t it give you a headache just thinking about all these? I may like writing stuff, but article writing for marketing purpose still gives me the jitters. Since I planned to give Bum Marketing a go, I had to find some materials to get myself up to par.

So I dug into my hard disk for all the article information marketing stuff covered with digital dusts. I can’t remember how much stuff I waded and plowed through—until Andrew Hansen’s “Article Speed Writing” caught my eyes. Ah ha! Just what the doctor ordered.

I’m telling you right now I’m very impressed with Andrew after reading his ebook. So much so I didn’t hesitate a bit to get Niche Marketing On Crack the minute he launched it recently. But hey, that’s another story, another post.

Back to Article Speed Writing.

Golden Article Writing Formula

Andrew claims that he can show you how to write “high quality, 100% unique, flowing, informative articles, that would drive new visitors to your website every day, at less than 30 minutes per article, including research.”

My 1st article following ASW directions is no 30-minutes piece though. It took me more than a few hours. I kept referring back to the “Golden Article Writing Formula” to make sure I got everything right. The 2nd and 3rd article went faster. So I guess with more practices I could write an article in half an hour.

What is the Golden Article Writing Formula? It is an outline structure telling you exactly how to write the article introduction, the body paragraphs and the conclusion. Andrew not only presents it in an easily understood graphical format, he also illustrates it with examples of a sample article. Unless you’re no good at following step-by-step instructions, you just can’t go wrong.

Article Marketing Tips

The Golden Formula is the meaty part, taking up a major chunk of the 32-page ebook. This isn’t to say the rest of the ebook is garbage. Amongst other things, Andrew

  • points out the common mistakes the average article writer makes,
  • proposes a quick way to conduct subject research, and
  • talks about good, appealing article titles.

He even has a section on rewriting private label articles for a lazy bum (marketer) like me. :-)

My favorite is the section on attracting and converting readers to site visitors. It captures the essence of good article information marketing besides writing the article itself.

For instance, do you know how to write a good teaser copy turning surfers to readers? Which, by the way, struck a chord when I first read it. How about writing good author biographies or resource boxes that get clicks? Andrew also gives his personal take on article submission to maximize the SEO impact.

They are the little things a newbie writer tends to overlook. Yet it is these little things that make or break the article marketing efforts. A seasoned article marketer may already know these but it still serves as a good refresher.

All Praise Looks Bad

This looks bad on me, I know. I’m like all praise over Andrew Hansen’s Article Speed Writing and nothing else. Totally biased. (Didn’t I tell you I love it so much I went snatching up his Niche Marketing On Crack? ;-) )

If ever there’s a bone to pick, it’s the 1001 way to write article: the Golden Article Writing Formula. What about other article formats? Like tips, top 10 lists, product reviews, or FAQs? A passing mention will be fine even if Andrew had no intention to cover them. It will at least clue the beginner writers on other options to add varieties to their toolbox. Then again… do you want to be a jack-of-all-trades or a master-of-one?

Final Say

I’m unsure about the “speed” part as I’ve a tendency to rewrite. My speed will improve with practice I suppose. As far as article writing is concerned, thumbs up for Andrew Hansen’s Article Speed Writing.

Article Speed Writing is actually more than a how-to-write-short-article ebook. It is a concise ebook on article marketing, covering the essential parts very succinctly. Andrew writes in a clear, direct, and easy to follow step-by-step format. It’s exactly how I expect a “how-to” guide should be. I highly recommend Article Speed Writing to anyone into article information marketing or Bum Marketing.
